ABOUT US

Oriental Goods

How it began

Our story begins in 2004, when Haitham entered the olive industry, gaining hands-on experience in cultivation, harvesting, and processing. Over the years, he built strong relationships with growers, developed a deep understanding of the crop, and became known for his practical expertise and problem-solving in the field.

In 2014, Haitham met Moustafa Rehan, who had recently moved from Canada to Egypt with a passion for agriculture and experience in international markets. Recognizing the value in combining Haitham’s technical knowledge and local networks with Moustafa’s global perspective and marketing skills, they began working together.

By 2018, their collaboration became Oriental Goods — a company built on trust, consistent quality, and a shared vision for delivering exceptional olives to customers around the world. In 2024, Ahmed Zedan joined the journey, further strengthening the team’s capacity to grow and meet market needs.

Today, Oriental Goods remains focused on what matters most to our B2B partners: dependable supply, consistent quality, and products tailored to specific market requirements.

“Olives: Nourishing Generations, Sustaining the Future. From ancient traditions to today’s modern practices, the olive industry connects us to the nature & the community. Olives are well rooted in our way of life and will remain for the future.”

What We Do

1. Facility One:

Storage and Pickling

The first facility focuses on storage and pickling, two critical components of our production chain. This facility is designed to handle large volumes of produce, ensuring that we can meet the demands of our contracts year-round. Our pickling process is where the magic happens—fresh vegetables are transformed into the tangy, flavorful products that our customers have come to expect from Oriental Goods. The facility’s storage capabilities allow us to maintain a steady supply of ingredients, even during off-seasons, ensuring consistency in our product offerings.

2. Facility Two:

Pasteurization, Olive Oxidization, and Canning

Our second facility is dedicated to the complex processes of pasteurization, olive oxidization, and canning. Here, we harness advanced technology and traditional methods to create products that are both safe and delicious. Our pasteurization process ensures that our preserved foods remain fresh and free from harmful bacteria, while our olive oxidization technique brings out the rich, complex flavors that our customers love. Canning, an essential part of our operation, allows us to extend the shelf life of our products without compromising on taste or quality.

OUR VALUES

We believe that a company must be well governed and operate with integrity at the core of its’ interactions with both client and supplier partners. We aim to operate and grow an Egyptian company brand synonymous with quality and professionalism.

OUR VISION

At Oriental Goods, our vision extends beyond just producing high-quality olives and pickled peppers.  We aspire to be a cornerstone in the Egyptian food industry, known for our dedication to sustainability, integrity, and excellence. Our goal is to bring the authentic tastes of Egypt to tables around the world, while also supporting local communities and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
